The Power of Hydration

Hydration plays a huge role in how we function and how we feel. Because of this, staying hydrated is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves. Considering our bodies are made up of around 60% water, it is critical that we provide our bodies with what it needs to stay healthy and running. Decreases in hydration cause other parts of our bodies to work harder, causing us to feel more tired. For example, the heart has to work harder to pump oxygen. If you want to have energy and have a positive mood, make sure you are drinking enough water!

  1. I agree hydration is very important for our bodies. We are made up of 60% water so we need to keep our bodies hydrated. Being dehydrated can cause us to preform at a lower level that we should. For sports we should be drinking as much water as we can in order to be at top shape. Overall great post Tyler.
